Our Story: Infrastructure‑First Electricians
We built this company to be experts in the house itself—before we add anything new, we make sure the foundation is safe, sized correctly, and ready for the future.
I started Watson's Charging Stations & Electric because I kept seeing the same problem: high-tech devices getting dropped into homes that didn't have the electrical "guts" to support them.
Everyone wanted to sell the gadget – the EV charger, the battery, the smart panel – but no one wanted to own the infrastructure. We built this company to be experts in the house itself. Before we add anything new, we make sure the foundation is safe, sized correctly, and ready for the future.
We're diagnostic‑first electricians. That means we measure before we guess, and we fix the real problem instead of slapping on a band-aid.
Our Core Beliefs
-
We Are Specialists, Not Generalists
We focus on the high-stakes, complex residential work that most generalists avoid: high-capacity panel swaps, long-run wiring for detached buildings, backup power, EV charging, and solar integration that all has to live on the same system.
-
Diagnostic Precision First
Every good project starts with understanding what your home can actually handle. That's why our Home Electrical Safety & Capacity Check is the gateway to almost everything we do. We look at your panel, loads, wiring, and plans so every repair or upgrade is a permanent solution, not a temporary patch.
-
South County Roots, Bay Area Reach
We're based in Gilroy and serve Santa Clara County, South County, and nearby communities. We work every day with PG&E, Silicon Valley Power (SVP), and City of Palo Alto Utilities (CPAU), and we bring that permitting and utility intelligence to every job so your project moves faster and cleaner.
What This Means for You
At Watson's, we don't just fix a tripping breaker and disappear. We build the electrical infrastructure that makes your modern lifestyle possible—without constantly wondering if your panel can keep up.
